A warm cutaway playroom, a tiny slide and shelves full of toys made nocoo’s Astra demo immediately readable on X. The opening post described a casual prompt and a forty-minute wait. The reply contained a much more useful artifact: a detailed brief specifying the room, its activities, visual treatment and technical environment.

That difference explains what to learn from the demo. Before attempting an interactive room, settle the composition and its visual hierarchy. This article develops an original toy-workshop scene in Ciyo as a two-dimensional design reference. The interactive Three.js implementation remains a separate development task.

Watch the room and inspect the shared brief

The creator’s reply specifies a warm play space, an open central area, toys of different sizes, books and a climbing structure. It also calls for rounded stylization, reusable models and motions, camera controls and a Vite project. The visible demo combines a cream-and-sage room with a slide and a clear central floor.

This is more direction than “make a cute room.” It links the contents to what someone does there and chooses a visual treatment suited to the requested implementation. Our exercise uses that planning principle without copying the creator’s room or presenting the reported forty minutes as a deadline.

Give the room an activity and a hierarchy

Our fictional scene is a miniature toy-repair workshop. One central workbench is the main activity. Storage sits along the back wall; a display shelf occupies the side wall. A small wheeled cart provides one secondary focal point. Everything else should help the viewer understand those zones.

Ask Astra to list the large shapes first. If the workshop only becomes legible after adding dozens of tiny tools, its composition is weak. At thumbnail size, the workbench, shelf and clear floor should still separate. This is the stage where a Ciyo concept image can save unnecessary modeling.

Write a scene brief that can survive a new angle

Keep an inventory with position, size class and visual role. The goal is a room another designer can describe consistently. Precise dimensions are unnecessary for this stylized exercise, but approximate relationships matter: the cart must fit beside the workbench, and the bench must not fill the entire floor.

Use a fixed camera for the initial Ciyo generation. A clean cutaway with two visible walls makes spatial decisions easy to review. Once that image works, explore lighting or palette while keeping the object arrangement stable.

Generate a concept with an intentional empty area

A scene prompt should say where detail stops. In our workshop, leave a clear patch of floor in front of the workbench. It helps the composition breathe and gives an animator somewhere to place an action later. A list of charming objects without spacing instructions usually produces clutter.

Bring the prompt and inventory to Ciyo’s Image Generator. Review one image before asking for variants. The output is a visual reference with perspective and shading baked into pixels; it is not a 3D scene file, a floor plan or a set of individually editable models.

Review the room at two sizes

For a short promotional motion asset, a modest push-in on the approved still can be enough. If the brief needs free camera rotation or characters navigating the room, hand the reference and object inventory to a separate Three.js or Blender workflow. Image to Video does not turn a flat concept into a navigable scene.

Use the concept to make the next decision

Export the accepted room and one alternate palette together with the inventory. For a game prototype, the next question is whether the intended action fits the space. For a toy-brand campaign, it is whether the hero object remains visible in the required crop. The same illustration can serve different jobs, but the approval criteria should be explicit.

Keep the original X demo beside the project as inspiration, and keep your own workshop references separate. That makes the provenance clear and gives the next person a practical starting point instead of an instruction to reproduce somebody else’s scene.
