Ciyo workflow
AI Certificate Generator: Test the Longest Name First

A workshop organiser needs more than one attractive certificate. The design has to survive the longest recipient name, reopen on another computer and keep the approved wording intact. Test those handoff details before paying for a batch.
We ran a fictional Cedar Workshop example in Ciyo on October 16, 2026. The Design agent supplied SVG source in chat and placed PNG previews on the canvas. The longer name needed smaller type, despite an earlier claim that it would fit.
Define the handoff before choosing a generator
Decide whether your next step is an editable design, a fixed PDF for delivery, or a roster of personalised files. A certificate preview does not establish all three. Our pilot tests one editable design and one name change; it does not demonstrate spreadsheet import, bulk issuing or credential verification.
Supply the organisation, certificate heading, recipient, workshop, date and instructor yourself. Use approved language and keep accreditation or achievement claims out unless your organisation can support them.
| Check | Evidence to keep |
|---|---|
| Editable recipient | A separate text element in the source |
| Long name | A rendered preview with the actual name |
| Other wording | Comparison with the approved original |
| Delivery | The file reopened in your chosen editor |
Start with one named participant
Create a separate project, save its title, then send a bounded brief. In this example the Design agent wrote vector artwork and rendered a PNG; it did not use an image-generation model. Save the complete SVG from chat as a file. The canvas image itself is a raster preview.
The frame below shows the original English brief beside both versions after the correction. The copyable request keeps the same fictional workshop and separates the recipient from the rest of the wording.

Create a fictional workshop completion certificate as editable SVG, 1600×1120. Ivory, charcoal and amber, generous margins, no seals or accreditation claims. Text exactly: Cedar Workshop; Certificate of participation; Presented to Avery Chen; for completing Introduction to Clay; 16 October 2026; Instructor: Morgan Lee. Keep the recipient name as a separate SVG text element. Put a PNG preview on the canvas and supply the complete SVG source in chat. This is a sample design, not a real credential.Inspect the actual editable source
The saved original contains seven text elements. The recipient is identified as recipient-name, with Avery Chen as its text. Check that element in an SVG-capable editor instead of assuming that a PNG is editable.
The source names EB Garamond and several fallback fonts. A different installed font can change the width of a name. Reopen the file where your team will use it and inspect the result there.

Test a longer name and audit the correction
We replaced Avery Chen with Alexandria Montgomery-Wellington, a 32-character name. The revised SVG changes the recipient text and reduces its font size from 84 to 74. Comparing the saved source confirms that every other line is unchanged.
This is a useful limit to discover in a pilot. The agent initially said the name fit at 84; its later rendering check corrected that statement. An old sizing comment remains in the source, so use the rendered result and the actual text element rather than that comment as your guide.
Change only the recipient name from Avery Chen to Alexandria Montgomery-Wellington. Keep all other wording, geometry, colors and fonts unchanged. Supply the complete revised SVG and add a separate PNG preview beside the original. Check that the name fits inside its line, and state any font-size change.Approve a small handoff before expanding
Review spelling, date, font substitution and name clearance, then ask for the actual delivery format your organiser needs. This sample has not been printed or bulk-issued. A successful name correction does not prove that every roster entry will fit.
Check the task cost
Include Billable LLM usage when considering the task cost. Writing and revising a vector design can consume Ciyo credits even when no image-generation model runs. Check current pricing and any Generation quote before expanding the work.
Certificate buying questions
Is the PNG preview an editable certificate?
It is a raster preview. In this pilot, the editable text and shapes were supplied separately as SVG source in chat. Save and reopen that source before relying on editability.
Does this workflow issue verified credentials in bulk?
This demonstration covers one fictional design and one long-name correction. It does not establish roster import, bulk delivery, accreditation or verification.
Test one certificate handoff
Use approved workshop details and your longest recipient name. Reopen the source and inspect the correction before expanding the batch.
